Autumn Equinox

3 Ideas for this autumnal equinox.

1. By allowing universal energy to run through the top of our heads to the tips of our toes and into the earth – daily, we create a fantastic rainbow shower of cosmic juice to revitalise and re-connect to source :). Seek to evoke the most intimate, mysterious and unconditional love affair in the universe : that between great spirit and us.

2. We can source from our highest destiny at all times by constantly asking for the guiding lights to be on. Let’s dream a new world into being this Thursday, sewing the seeds of a magical new reality which will manifest next spring.

3. Think hard about the star seeds you want to grow in your heart and soul this winter. What is no longer serving you and needs to be released into the full moon fire? What needs to be nurtured into seedlings?.

This Equinox I will be  honouring my ancestors by lighting candles for them, I will have a fire to transform and mulch any heavy energies into positive energy for my life.

My scrap threads and fibres will be woven onto a prayer stick and either left in the ground in a special spot , hung in my studio or put in the fire. Wrapping multicoloured threads with intent around a stick which has ‘called’ you is a magical way of stating your focus for the coming months. Last and not least, enjoy this time with friends – feasting on the bounty from our gardens, yum!.

Some of these ideas were taken from a book by Glennie Kindred called ‘Earths Cycle of Celebration’ and ‘Something More, Excavating Your Authentic Self’ Sarah Ban Breathnach.
